Terror Birds and Thunder Lizards: solo show at Benna's Cafe; Philadelphia PA, November-December 2009

This show was a combination of the two things I love to draw the most; monsters and animals. Dinosaurs are basically both. As a kid I was obsessed with them and used to read all sorts of books and encyclopedias. While researching this project one of the things I discovered was how many things archaeologists were wrong about. And how many dinosaurs that I thought, as a kid, were put together wrong, actually were put together wrong. So this show was a study in "stupid" dinosaurs. Things that look EXTRA bizarre or are disputed. I should also note these aren't all dinosaurs. There's some bizarre prehistoric birds and mammals too.
