All the animals ever




Seven Years Seven Continents: Solo show at Benna's Cafe; Philadelphia PA, December-January 2008/9

To celebrate my 30th birthday, I went to Antarctica. With that trip I had been to all seven continents and to commemorate I drew every animal I'd ever seen in the wild. There are a few that weren't 100% "wild" (i.e. the salt water crocodile was seen in a crocodile farm in Indonesia, where crocs were raised to be reintroduced to the wild) and I stuck to vertebrates that I could positively identify. When the show hung there was an accompanying sheet that had the name of each animal, where I saw it and the year. Hopefully, I'll be able to add that soon.

Each piece is 1.5"x1.5" and are represented in colors that relate to the specific animal.
