Miscellaneous

And this is for Josh's new slasher movie Idiot Gore. I got some really funny reference of one of the actors making a "dead face". We discussed what kind of imagery he wanted to go for and the poster for Maniac, The Burning and Alone In the Dark were mentioned, the last one resonating the most with me.

So over a year ago, Josh Hull asked me to do the cover for his low budget zombie romp in an office called Beverly Lane. It was loads of fun with zombies, clowns, magicians and mimes! However, I just realized I never posted a larger version of the finished cover...so here it is!

Team Bristlehead did the World Series Of Birding again this year. This was a splash page illustration for their updated website.

This was a banner for a genre movie review site run by my friend Skylar, called Radiation Sickness. Check out his reviews of Italian Indiana Jones ripoffs.

I don't usually like to draw tattoos for people but this idea was great!

This is it. The other dream job for the month. A Greek zombie movie that TLA Releasing

Missing Link Records is a store in Melbourne Australia. My friend Pete works there and asked me to do buisness card and sticker designs of cavemen with records. He liked them so much he commissioned me to illustrate a the lightbox at the store. It's the biggest piece I've ever had to do.
Zines

I was asked to draw a cover for a new Canadian horror zine with a giallo theme. I had just finished watching Cat O' Nine Tails and Four Flies On Grey Velvet, so my research was already done.

A rare full color zine cover for Silly Little Trouser Monkeys.

When Mike Thorn was at Maximum Rock N Roll he emailed me with this idea "Poseur punks getting attacked by crusty punk chimpanzees". He also said he thought I would be perfect to illustrate it. I was flattered and concerned about my reputation.

I love horror movies, in case you couldn't figure that out already. Here, I got to combine my love of vegan food and Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the same piece. I've been told that this makes people laugh out loud.

When I was in my last year at UArts I did an experimental drug study at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. There were three seperate times when we had to stay overnight for two nights in a row. All I had was my sketch book and some basic cable. There was also an I.V. in my arm the whole time so they could take blood once an hour. That includes the hours of 12a.m. to 7a.m. Needless to say this piece was done in a state of delirium. I think it shows.

A cover for an Australian magazinecalled Trunk Junk Quarterly that focuses on surfing, skating, snowboarding, etc. They wanted a Rat Fink-esque dude with all this boarding gear to encompass what their magazine is about.
Adds

Ad for the amazing Afends.

Busted Head Records has put out some great records (although they also put out the record with THE WORST cover art I've ever done) and Christopher is a great dude.

I did two ads for Dead Eyed Records, a full page and a half page. This is the better of the two.
